MICROSOFT OUTLOOK 2007 CONFIGURATION STEP BY STEP(for Exchange Server mails):
1> Open the Microsoft Outlook Page. You will find the Outlook 2007 Startup page click next
2> In Account Configuration Page Select the Yes Option and Click Next
3>In Add New Email Account Page: You have 2 Options. a) you can configure your gmail or yahoomail accounts to Outlook. b) you can connect your company exchange server.
4> For option (b) You need to select Manually Configure server settings or additional server types.
5> Choose E-mail Service in that you need to select Microsoft Exchange and click Next.
6> In Microsoft Exchange Settings: You need to Type your Exchange Server Name and also select Use Cached Exchange Mode. And In User Name you need to type your name or employee ID.
7> Then Click Check After detecting your account you need to type your password.
8> And in More settings we need to change Connection settings. For this we need to select Connection
in this we need to select the connect using my Local Area Netork(LAN).
9> In that Connection we have one more option like Outlook any where in that Select the Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP. After that Select the Exchange Proxy Settings. A new Window will Open in that we need to type the mail server website. and also select the slow networks,connect using HTTP, then using connecting tcp/ip. For Proxy authentication Settings. Select the Basic Authentication.Then Click Ok and then click Apply
